Truly delicious go to curry dish. To make vegetarian, just leave out the beef.

Fragrant Curry on Rice

Boneless beef stew meat

Optionally, for non-vegetarian version, slice the
2 pounds Boneless beef stew meat
into 1 inch squares. Heat large pot to medium high, and add vegetable oil. Brown beef on all sides and set aside.​​
Chop finely the
Mince, or grate, the 
Heat large pot to medium high heat. Add
3 tbsp Vegetable oil
​and the chopped onion.
Saute onions until tender and browned, about 7 minutes.
Add to pot the chopped garlic, as well as the 
1 Cinnamon stick
1 Bay leaf
and stir for one minute.​​
Add to pot the chopped tomatoes, as well as the
1.5 cup Whole milk
2 tbsp Lemon juice
2 tbsp Ginger, minced
1.5 tbsp Curry powder

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes to 2 hours.
Cook
2 cup Jasmine rice
Serve curry over rice.
